Hardingland Farm is a twenty acre small holding, close to the edge of The Peak District and the Cheshire border and less than five miles from our Bollington restaurant. In 2008 the farm was acquired and developed by Patrick Hannity to supply a seasonal selection of free range eggs, lamb, beef, and rare breed pork solely for the Lime Tree Restaurants. The livestock at Hardingland Farm are breeds such as Sussex, Blackrock and Warren Poultry, Saddle Back Pigs, Suffolk and Texal Sheep, Aberdeen Angus Cattle, a flock of ducks and some geese.

Many of the animals are born on the farm and their welfare is of paramount importance. All the Livestock are free range and are fed on prime quality meal. The resulting eggs and meat is a high quality product which we are proud and privileged to present as part of our seasonal specialist menu at both restaurants. At Hardingland Farm we are self sufficient in eggs, meat, vegetables, fruit and fuel for our woodburners, while our water is supplied by Wildboarclough spring.
